We want to intensively develop your entrepreneurial skills while fostering creative thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to take on operational responsibility. Our goal is for you to gain insights into investments and operational work right from the start and, step by step, take on more responsibility.
This will make you a better investor in our focus sectors, as you’ll develop a truly in-depth understanding of the value drivers of these business models. In practice, this means you’ll become familiar with various facets of investment and operational work.
For example, during acquisition or divestiture processes, you may spend the majority of your time on M&A activities, but afterward you’ll support operational projects at one of our portfolio companies for an extended period—for example, in the areas of finance or corporate development.
If you enjoy entrepreneurial work and perform exceptionally well, the operational role can also be long-term—you’ll have the opportunity to pursue a management or entrepreneurial career with us. When and for how long you’ll be in an operational role depends, on the one hand, on the opportunities available on the DEDIQplatform and, on the other hand, of course, on your personal strengths and interests.

Your background:
• Several internships or initial experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity,
or the startup/scale-up environment
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial figures and
business contexts
• Motivation to work on both operational and strategic tasks and
to develop innovative solutions
• A completed degree in economics, engineering, or
the natural sciences
• A dedicated team player with a high degree of initiative and independence
• Proficiency with software relevant to the job, such as the MS Office suite, as well as the
ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools
