We invest primarily in the IT services and software sectors, as this is where we have the deepest understanding of business models and key value drivers. Beyond providing access to capital, we also play an active role in shaping operations.

Our investment criteria

We invest in medium-sized companies in order to develop great businesses together with entrepreneurs and management teams and create long-term value. With a particular focus on IT services and software, we invest €20-250 million of equity per transaction and usually aim for a stake of >50%.

Company target profiles

Revenue between €20 million and €1 billion, annual growth potential of at least 10%

Profitable business model with potential for (significant) margin growth as a key value lever

Temporary business difficulties are not a deal breaker

Customers perceive the service offering positively; ideally, long-term customer relationships exist

Clear and differentiating expertise in the range of services from the customer's perspective

Transaction size and structure

€20-250 million in equity per transaction by DEDIQ

Long-term investment horizon, no exit pressure

Majority stakes preferred, minority stakes possible with clear governance

Partner in growth and operational excellence situations, for succession solutions, MBOs/MBIs, take-privates/P2Ps, and spin-offs/carve-outs

Pure equity structures possible in strong growth situations or for fast transaction processes

Complex structuring problems relating to existing company and shareholder structures can be solved
