Partner | New Investments
Ekkhard is Partner for New Investments and leads deal sourcing and transaction processes.
Ekkhard is actively involved in the development of the DEDIQ Value Creation Plan for each of our portfolio companies. He worked for 20 years in investment banking at Rothschild, Morgan Stanley and HSBC in Frankfurt, London and Dusseldorf.
Ekkhard studied business administration at EBS in Oestrich-Winkel and informatics at James Madison University (USA).
In his free time he likes to be in the nature. He also is a pilot and loves to travel other countries.
Jan is responsible for the sourcing of new investment opportunities and the transaction process.
Jan is actively involved in the development of the DEDIQ Value Creation Plan for each of our portfolio companies. Before joining Dediq, Jan spent three years in private equity at Silverfleet Capital in Munich und five years in investment banking (M&A) at J.P. Morgan in Frankfurt and London.
Jan studied business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. He likes to spent his free time doing water sports, winter sports, or travelling.
Corinna is responsible for the operational development and improvement of our portfolio companies.
Before joining DEDIQ, Corinna worked in the Corporate Development department at UBS for 2 years and 4.5 years at McKinsey.
Corinna studied Business Administration at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and at University of St. Gallen. During her bachelor studies she completed an apprenticeship as qualified bank clerk. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, cooking and baking.

Dominic is partner for Business Optimization. He is responsible for the operational development of our portfolio companies.
As CEO he was involved in the development of a market leader in a niche of the automotive aftermarket. Now Dominic is responsible for additional portfolio companies that focus on e-commerce and B2C. Before joining DEDIQ Dominic spent five years in investment banking (M&A) at Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt and New York.
Dominic studied business administration at University of St. Gallen and Columbia University.
He loves to spend time in the mountains, hiking or racing mountain streets, or with a good book.
Dr. Sylvia Friese
Sylvia is responsible for the data-driven development of our portfolio companies.
Sylvia has set up the BI division of a market leader in its niche of the automotive aftermarket. Today, she is responsible for the BI development in other DEDIQ-holdings in e-commerce.Before Sylvia joined DEDIQ, she worked as a data analyst for an international online marketing network.
Sylvia has earned a Ph.D. in computer science at the TU Munich and studied in Marburg.
In her spare time, she loves cycling across countries and continents or enjoys a good read.
Lukas is involved in business optimization and supports the operational development of our portfolio companies.
Prior to DEDIQ, Lukas worked in management consulting at Bain & Company and goetzpartners and in corporate venture capital at Fielmann Ventures.
Lukas studied Management and Technology at the Technical University of Munich and is an alumnus of the entrepreneurship program Manage&More of UnternehmerTUM. In his free time, he likes to be active in the mountains and is a passionate football and tennis player.

Matthias is Partner for Business Optimization. He is responsible for the operational development of our portfolio companies.
Matthias has 20 years of work experience as a consultant in the IT-sector and holds management positions in multiple DEDIQ portfolio companies. Since the beginning of his professional career, Matthias has focused on the effects of digitalization on business models. He played a leading role in the digital transformation of many companies.
Matthias studied business administration at HHL Leipzig and at University of Würzburg.
In his free time he loves to go skiing on the water as well as snow.
Patrick has been at DEDIQ since 2017 and is responsible for the operational development and strategical set-up of our portfolio companies. At DEDIQ he is responsible, as a co-lead, for the transformation of one of our portfolio companies in the professional services FSI-domain.
Before joining DEDIQ, Patrick was 8 years at McKinsey, among others as a lead architect in many large-scale FSI transformations. Further, he was CIO at a major bank in Asia. Patrick holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science from Lehigh University, USA.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling and is a passionate father of his newborn daughter.
Franziska is responsible for all finance and administrative processes at DEDIQ.
Before joining DEDIQ, Franziska worked as a management assistant and as an event manager.
Franziska studied business administration at the TH Nuremberg.
She loves to spend her free time in the nature with her friends or travelling the world.
Katja as Head of Group Finance, is responsible for the departments Accounting, Cash Management and Personnel Administration of one of our portfolio companies.
Katja set up and developed Group Finance in one of our portfolio companies in the professional services sector.
Before joining DEDIQ, Katja worked as an auditor in one of the Big Four accounting companies where she successfully passed the exams as tax advisor and auditor.
Katja studied Economics at the Berlin School of Economics. She likes to spend her spare time at the Barre or with good books.
Partner | Group CFO
Tim is our Group CFO and responsible for finances, investors and relationships to banks as well as controlling of the investment holding.
Tim built up the e-commerce sales as well as finance and HR departments for a DEDIQ portfolio company in the automotive aftermarket. He is currently involved in the development of technical sales for a portfolio company in the machine construction sector. Before joining DEDIQ Tim worked in Investment Banking (M&A) at Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt.
Tim studied business administration at WHU Koblenz and ESCP in Paris.
Besides work he loves to do ball sports or go snowboarding.

Axel is Director Talent at DEDIQ. In his role, he is responsible for the recruitment of new employees for DEDIQ, as well as for filling some selected roles in the portfolio companies. Additionally, he focuses on strategic Talent topics such as Employer Branding, Talent Management and Community Building.
Before joining DEDIQ Axel has been responsible for building up the Technical Recruiting function at the HR-software company Personio and before that, he worked in the Global Talent Acquisition team of the semiconductor company Intel.
Axel holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and he finished his Masters at Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship with a double degree (Master of Arts in General Management and MBA).
In his spare time Axel enjoys playing tennis and golf, learning languages and traveling abroad.”
HR & Recruiting
As an HR & Recruiting Manager, Claudia is responsible for bringing in new talent into one of our IT portfolio companies.
Her previous work experience combines corporate and agency recruiting with employer relationship management at European business schools. Originally from Romania, Claudia has lived in Spain for several years and moved to Germany in 2014 together with her family.
Claudia enjoys nature and the countryside, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones.
